妊婦がスタチンを使用したときの子供の先天異常

上記の報告を受けて先天異常とスタチンの関連を検索。以下の報告を検出。

Merck社の研究者等がMerck社のデータベースをレビューし、妊娠中にシンバスタチンとロバスタチンに暴露した妊婦の子供の転帰を調査。
シンバスタチンやロバスタチンで先天異常（先天性奇形）が増えることは無いという結論。
一方以下のような症例報告がNEJMに掲載されている。妊娠第1期のスタチン暴露で中枢神経と手足の異常認められた。
